i found this link that claims to be able to help you increase your Firefox browser’s speed. curious to see whether altering Firefox’s configurations would really speed things up, i tried out four of the “hacks,” and decided that i was happy w/the results.
although nothing was “ridiculously” sped up, there was a noticeable increase in speed leaving me with nothing to complain about.
here’s what i used:
1. Enable pipelining
2. Render quickly
3. Faster loading
all of these fixes can be done w/in 5 minutes, and you don’t even have to leave the Firefox window. i say you give it a try.
