poormanmacrozippo: I saw a group called “poor-man’s macro,” where people would take macro images by shooting through a reversed lens, and I wanted to try it out myself. This image of my Zippo was taken through with a Nikkor 35mm f/2D with a reversed Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 ai. Those black lines at the bottom belong to an out-of-focus ruler measuring millimeters.
