I gotta say, I’m surprised and not surprised at the same time. First I’m surprised I didn’t find articles about the faked spacewalk sooner, and second, I suppose I should’ve seen it coming.

For an in-depth and indisputable fact-by-fact analysis of how the spacewalk was faked, check this link of an interview with a Dr. Qu Zheng, a Chinese expert who worked at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

In regards to others questioning Dr. Qu Zheng on the plausibility of the CCP actually faking something of this enormity and so badly, he responds “they actually understand that my points are reasonable, but they cannot emotionally accept it,” and I think he’s right. People will grit their teeth and fight to the death to defend something that’s been analyzed and proven fake.

China will eventually make it up there and truly spacewalk one day, but it doesn’t look like they’re there yet.

End with a quote off a YouTube:
they didn’t fake it! traces of melamine were found floating in space.

» The dreaded "Kiss of Deaf"

Chinese “Kiss of Deaf” - (BBC News article.)

Bwahahah—A guy making out with his girlfriend accidentally caused his girlfriend to go deaf in her left ear. The whole ordeal has sparked multiple warnings about the “dangers of excessive kissing” throughout the Chinese news media.

The kiss reduced the pressure in the mouth, pulled the eardrum out and caused the breakdown of the ear.
This ought to give you something to think about the next time someone’s tongue is in your ear. Ouchies.

i know it’s impossible to completely avoid purchasing all chinese products, but i honestly do what i can. whenever i go shopping i always make sure that whatever i’m buying is made anywhere but the tainted “middle kingdom”—even at cheap dollar-store-like outlets. (my car freshener is korean and my dish sponges are made in vietnam.)

the latest news is still related to china’s melamine contaminated products, but at this point who can really say they’re surprised? this time the item being banned from shelves is “White Rabbit Creamy Candy,” which i’ve actually had the pleasure of enjoying once or twice.

Melamine is a chemical additive at the heart of China’s contaminated dairy scare. It is used to make plastics and fertilizers, but it is sometimes illegally mixed into food products, including milk, because its high levels of nitrogen can help fool tests that measure protein levels.
the disturbing, but again not surprising, thing is that officials actually tried to cover-up the problem shortly before the olympics. guess they were too busy oppressing tibetans to try and deal with their tainted goods that have now spread worldwide.
